Senior Electrical Engineer – Data Centre – Remote

Overview:

• Can be based in any country in the European Union (EU).
• EU Passport required as travel to other EU countries will be required.
• Projects will mainly be in the Data Centre sector
• Projects based in Ireland and EMEA
• 12 month contract, likely to be renewed

Key Requirements:

• Standards: Possess a deep understanding of relevant standards such as CIBSE, BS, IS, and EN.
• Software Proficiency: Be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite. Additionally, have a working knowledge of Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and REVIT.
• Design Experience: Ideally, 7+ years’ electrical building services design experience, with some exposure to Data Centre projects.
• Education: Degree and/or Masters in Electrical Engineering – Chartered Engineer status ideal.

Job Description:

• Lead Electrical Services Design: Manage the design process for electrical services from the conceptual stage through completion.
• Specification and Design: Create specifications and designs for Electrical Building Services systems.
• Quality Checks and Control: Ensure continuous design and installation quality through regular checks and control measures.
• Tender Packages: Develop fully detailed tender packages, including reports, analysis, and recommendations.
• Project Scope Development: Collaborate with the design team and clients to develop the project scope.
• Electrical Design Standards: Uphold and adhere to electrical design standards within the organization.
• Mentoring: Provide mentoring to engineering staff, sharing expertise and knowledge.
